I personally was very much attracted towards the title and the cover page of the book. Now about the story, Story moves around the character Viren who is very much desperate to find his true love pari , and one fine day, he finally finds his Pari, when he falls in love with Rashi.

But for Rashi he was Just a good friend. He expresses his strong and true love to Rashi, makes many sacrifices for her, but she continues to treat him like a normal friend. In all this he ignores his best friend Manasi who was having a strong and true love feelings for him.

One day when Rashi told him about her relationship with Pratap, Viren endup losing himself into deep deperation and a hopeless loser. All this while Manasi took charge, take care of him and brought him back from that deperation period.

All this while Viren and Manasi became very close to each other. Manasi showed the hights of her love and affection to Viren but viren on the other hand took it very casually and get physically involved with other girl too.

When Manasi got to know about this she end her relation with viren. He realizes his mistakes and sins, and expresses his real confessions, before attempting suicide. Story line was quite predictable without any crisp and turns which can make readers stict to it with interest.

I Am Heartless: A Real Confession

I am sure it will make you cry.. A heart gripping read View 2 comments. Jul 18, Crestless Wave rated it liked it. With the completion of my Post Graduation I completed another book in my one-night-read manner.

It a tale of a guy Viren, whom author mate in a really strange situation where he was about to die and the Author got to know about just a bit of his love story. Later Viren finds the author trustworthy and ask him to write his story as novel and author did that. Story run around a post graduating student who is, according to author, said to be a day dreamer, an egoistic, a hopeless romantic and an attention seeker afflicted with a bizarre madness and arrogance engulfing him.

And throughout the story you can find many places where you can feel it clearly but one thing author missed was Highly Self Deluded mindset of Viren. He was full of I, Me, Myself behavior but found no quality in him that can make him so dominant person and for me he was just a regular guy.

He fall in love with a girl and in the meantime several other girls fall in love with him, but for the sake of his loyalty for his True Love, he ignored them all, including himself. Initial chapters are quite out of flow and as I heard earlier that books from Mahaveer Publishers are full of spelling and grammatical mistakes, this one too had ample of them which contributed by a fair margin in breaking the flow here and there quite often.

The flow is scattered till chapter 8 and 9 but after chapter 10, story picked up the flow and sailed smoothly till the end. Every chapter after chapter 9 was in correct context and maintained the same pace with every passing chapter.

I like the way of storytelling of Mr. Few things I noticed were, 1.

Self Contradiction: In chapter 6, Author said Viren told everything about Pari to Mansi, but in chapter 17, Mansi says she know nothing about Pari. How it happened? Chapter 8 broke the thought flow in really bad manner that I almost thought of leaving the book for a while and continue reading later sometime but somehow I read it in one go.

Chapter 9 did nothing but felt like an attempt to cut a few chapters by editor and say a lot many things in few pages, that was really irritating part of the book. But later after chapter 9 flows was smooth and just perfect. Author said Viren was a poet, but no piece of his poems can be found in book, disappointing for me. I strongly felt need of an Epilog, because I was eager to know what is current situation.

Storytelling is Good, but not very good.

You can read it in very short span of time that too with least effort and after reading you will really find the Actual meaning of its Title. Prologue provokes to read it further but initial chapters failed to grip my mind but later as story picked up the pace, I forgot my Coffee and was just lost in the story. Mar 20, Nikita Sharma rated it it was amazing. Mar 23, Sajal Maheshwari rated it it was ok. I am heartless - a real confession, is a romance fiction narrating the ups and downs of campus life of Post Graduates not graduates, otherwise it would have had atleast some comedy in it ;.

Given that this is the writer's first book he has done a reasonable job. While the book is full of grammatical mistakes and bad sentence constructions, there is an overdose of them for initial 10 chapters.

This irritates the reader a lot and keeps him from being engrossed. The book starts becoming a smooth sail I am heartless - a real confession, is a romance fiction narrating the ups and downs of campus life of Post Graduates not graduates, otherwise it would have had atleast some comedy in it ;.

The book starts becoming a smooth sail 13th chapter onwards and the reader starts liking the book as the book proceeds towards ending. He, then, falls in love with the last chapter. The last chapter of the book is what sets it apart from the rest of the book. It is interesting to levels that it can entertain the believer of platonic love. The book can easily be condensed to half with an effort of a few ours and would make a better read.

This new half version will contain the prologue, one chapter replacing first 12 chapters, chapters and the 20th chapter in its original form.

There are a lot of what-the-hell moments in the book. One such example is the english translation of the poem on the 17th page!

Also there is an overdose of characters which confuses the reader. The writer could have done away with atleast some characters since they are not used in the book anyway. The prologue of the book connects very well with the last chapter and keeps the reader curious till the end. The cover page of the book is a good job and the introduction at the back cover provokes the reader to read the book.

All in all, a good first effort has been made by Mr. Vinit K Bansal and I hope to see his forthcoming works getting better. Oct 14, Hitakshi Bawa rated it liked it.

Vinit has done a good attempt in devoting his attention towards the story line and the way he has expressed the true emotions of the Lead of the story Viren is quite recommendable. I personally was very much attracted towards the title and the cover page of the book.

Starting was very slow but the second part of the novel will attract you. Very easy language which can be read by anyone. As a Avid reader I didn't liked the story but if I see it by another eye, as a Real Confession by someone its remarable.

A really nice attempt by Vinit. I would wish him success for his future. View all 4 comments. Mar 25, Ravi Soni rated it did not like it Shelves: Nov 20, Rohit Sharma rated it liked it. Vinit K. It is the story of Viren, a day dreamer, who dreams that one day he will definitely find his true love or Pari, as he fondly calls her. He ridicules Manasi, ignores her often, but she remains honest and true to him.

Viren, instead, waits endlessly for Rashi, and one fine day, Rashi informs him that she in a relationship with Pratap. Viren is heartbroken, and starts behaving like a hopeless loser. But, Viren is not the same guy any more. He has lost all his faith over love and relationships.

He treats his relationship with Manasi, very casually. There comes a stage, when he becomes total ignorant, mad, psycho, and even gets involved with another girl — Neetika. His life takes a serious turn when Manasi gets to know the truth about him, and his wrong doings. She leaves him, forever! As a first time writer, Vinit K. Bansal has done a good job, and I really liked the way he has penned the character of Viren.

It looks very real, and many people can easily relate to him. The second half of the book flows superbly, especially from the scene when Manasi starts taking care of Viren. The book contains many words that may prompt readers to consult a dictionary. But, Vinit has used them aptly. There are certain instances, in other books, where authors have used complex words without knowing the exact meaning and usage.

The climax of the book is very good, very engrossing, makes you feel sad as well, and is very well written.

See a Problem?

Clap Clap Clap! Enough of Appreciations!!! The first half of the book, literally, drags. It is slow, very slow in fact, and most of the scenes are not properly connected to each other. That is the stage, when the reader tends to lose patience.

The plot, on the whole, is very predictable; in fact, the prologue will tell you the gist of the story. There are many editorial mistakes, for which I will not blame the author. I want to appeal to all the publishers out here, please take care of editorial mistakes.

They make a good book, look bad! And lastly, the usage of certain words will force a layman to refer a dictionary every now and then. Usage of complex English words is acceptable, maybe in descriptions etc. The book can easily be condensed to half with an effort of a few ours and would make a better read.
