One of the worst things about anxiety is that the condition convinces you that you're losing your mind. From the very beginning this book destroys that perception.

And just that is a huge relief. The book thoroughly but clearly explains all of your symptoms. You will realize you are not the only one going through this.

There are hundreds of thousands of people going through the same thing, and Paul David was one of them. Going through the book you realize Paul has obviously gone through the exact same thing you are going through. And there's only one way to get better; and it's to stop trying to get better. If you are suffering from anxiety, get this book. It will without any doubt help you immensely. And I have read a lot of them. This is THE answer and I recommend this book if you have anxiety.

Not a bunch of steps if any to follow. It is mainly insight and it is amazing. This book has brought me tremendous peace and comfort and I finally get that I am OK.

I can say that the state of mind I was in was horrible! I have never experienced anything like this or even knew anxiety can have such a huge impact on your life.

When I found his website and read the book, I cried. At last, I had an explanation that even a doctor could not tell me.

At last a life

I loved it so much, I purchased three and gave them to friends who I knew who experienced anxiety as well. I highly recommend this book to a sufferer of anxiety. Just when you think this monster called "Anxiety" has robbed you from your personality, you then see a light at the end of the tunnel. God bless. I also felt that I had more to say than had been churned out before, mainly by people who had never actually been through it.

Every common symptom is explained in the book, not just the anxiety, but also, the feelings of unreality, the racing thoughts, feelings of dread, lack of confidence, depression, the constant worry cycle and many more symptoms that I have come across over the years. The book continues to get tremendous feedback and has sold so many copies through recommendations.

It is now on prescription through certain doctors surgeries and many people also tell me that their counsellor or therapist has put them on to it and that is something I am very honoured to hear.

Frequently bought together

The book is sold all over the world and has been recently published in Japan, all this without any advertising or promotion. So many people email to say it is by far the best thing they have ever picked up relating to the subject, the only thing that truly helped.

You can purchase the book in physical or e-book form with any debit, credit card or PayPal account, using a secure online payment by clicking on the book image below.

I wouldn't wish this o I've been dealing with depersonalization for about a month now and after reading this book, I had one good day of doing what I wanted regardless of how badly I felt.

I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy- with the exception of Hitler.

I think it's a good thing-though, it doesn't feel good! I guess I just have to keep going right? Thanks, Paul. If anyone else wants to share symptoms of their own or input their own advice such as how I'm feeling, because I can still freak myself out, I'd love to hear it.

The tips and recommendations may not seem very intuitive at first, specially for those who just very recently happened to suffer from this, but they do make a lot of sense once you understand where it all comes from. I actually happened to read this while studying mindfulness meditation and found many ideas and practices to complement and match each other quite well.

The most value I got from this book was reading a first hand experience from someone who suffered anxiety-related issues for a long time and recovered, as one of the most stressful aspects of it is usually feeling alone, weird and out of control.

I bumped a star because I think with some editing the book could be better organized, but the ideas are explained well. Detaching from your anxiety feels unnatural at first, but having tested his methods myself over the past week I've noticed small improvements.

Nov 26, Matt TurnThePage rated it it was amazing. This book has set me on the path to "recovery" after 8 years of anxiety and panic. Would recommend to anyone struggling. Although I gave it 5 stars, the book could still have been better written, my only minor complaint. Oct 12, Clark rated it it was amazing.

Amazing book. Jan 15, Karol rated it it was amazing. Basically I can sum this book in one sentence: So simple. If someone would said that to me before reading this book I would answer to him "Simpler said then done". But after reading the whole explanation in this book now I understand why "letting it go" is the simples and only way to recovery. Apr 25, Stephen Shale rated it it was amazing Shelves: A fantastic book, which I believe informs of everything you need to know to recover from anxiety. I have at least shown it does, but the pages full of positive feedback from many others, really instills a confidence from the outset. It describes the actual physical reactions that take place in your body, how you have been tricked all along, and how to change your mindset.

I honestly believe this is the only book you need to read.

But Paul's continuous inspirational tweets and blog keep you going. Sep 25, Emma rated it liked it Shelves: This is over-priced for a self-published book. As others have said, it desperately needs editing, which would halve its length. That said, when you have anxiety your mind is already going in circles so having the same message essentially 'ride it out rather than making yourself anxious trying to 'fix' or understand it' repeated over and over is actually quite helpful.

Jan 23, Natasha rated it it was amazing. It took me quite a while to finish this book, the longest it's taken me to finish any book but I'm glad I did. It is exactly what you need. Oct 28, Leasha rated it it was amazing.

A MUST read for anyone suffering from severe anxiety! I cannot stress enough how much this book helped me. I honestly feel truly blessed that I ran across this book by accident. It has changed my life. I will say it starts off sort of slow and takes while to get to the actual point but once it starts explaining you will not be able to put it down.Occasionally it came off like so many cliches to the tune of "just don't think about it" or "just cheer up.
