A series of chance encounters leads to a sizzling new romance from the New York Times bestselling author of the On Dublin Street series. The universe is conspiring against Ava Breevort.

As if flying back to Phoenix to bury a childhood friend wasn't hell enough, a cloud of volcanic ash traveling from overseas delayed her flight back home to Boston. Her last ditch attempt to salvage the trip was thwarted by an arrogant Scotsman, Caleb Scott, who steals a first class seat out from under her.

Then over the course of their journey home, their antagonism somehow lands them in bed for the steamiest layover Ava's ever had. And that's all it was--until Caleb shows up on her doorstep.

When pure chance pulls Ava back into Caleb's orbit, he proposes they enjoy their physical connection while he's stranded in Boston.

Yes, while the secondary characters stories have been told, each book focuses on one couple and the author does a pretty darn good job of giving you backstory. You can practically see those sparks flying. I have being putting off reading this book because of this and totally forget it was releasing this week.

A lovely review! Sharon — Obsession with Books. This series is going so strong! The books can be read as standalone right? I am curious to see what her next adult series will be about.

Enjoy Stormi. I think the books just got better. I am anxious to see what her next adult project is. I love it when the characters start off with wicked banter and snark. You have me curious about the curve-ball life throws Logan!

On Dublin Street is next up on my Scribd. This sounds like a good one! Ooh, I smell big fictional crush, Kimba dear: Logan myself now.

LOL, yeah he is a sweetie who made a huge mistake in the name of love and seeing him finally get his story was lovely. Thank goodness these can all be standalones because I want to know more and may not go in order.

Those seem to be much more lasting and rewarding.

Great review! I pounded on it. I pounded harder before I could regret my decision to confront him.

Two seconds later I heard movement inside, followed by a muffled curse. The door suddenly swung open, and there he stood in all his glory.

I blinked, fighting the heat that bloomed on my cheeks, but failed. Logan MacLeod had opened the door in nothing but boxer briefs, and I had never seen a man like him in real life. There was not an inch of fat on him.

Just pure, hard muscle.

Fight or Flight

My friend Chloe would say he was cut. Logan rubbed a hand over his short hair, drawing my attention from his six-pack to his sleep- roughened face.

Despite my blushing, I mustered on. I then stepped out of my door and missed the pile of vomit on it by inches. I can only assume it was deposited there by either yourself or the cackling female you brought home last night. No one had upset me like this in a very long time.

I stared dumbly at him. He blinked sleepily, looking much too attractive for someone who was just awake.

I appreciate you cleaning it. You should consider removing that stick from your tiny arse. I stopped and looked at him over my shoulder. I sniffed at the insult and turned to leave again, not deigning to give him a response.

Instead triumph coursed through me that he was just as aggravated by me as I was by him. I looked up to find him standing out on the landing scowling down at me.

He, more than anyone, knew what a big deal it was for me to speak up for myself, and he knew exactly why. Chloe was my roommate in first year, and the three of us had grown close during our four years at Edinburgh.

A bit of a chatterbox, flirtatious, and energetic, Chloe was our opposite, but together we worked. Juno was a postgrad student from Canada. During one of her moments of utter perceptiveness, Chloe recognized something in Juno that she thought would appeal to Aidan. She introduced the fresh-faced, shy, exceptionally intelligent Canadian to Aidan, and it was pretty much love at first sight.

I was the single one among us, as Chloe was also engaged. Chloe was lonely without Ed. And when Chloe was lonely she liked to play matchmaker.

For me. Not that it was such a hardship to put up with her matchmaking. Plus, he was huge, even bigger than Logan.

No one — unless an idiot — would try to mess with him. Excluding one extremely drunken night at uni, I mostly thought of him as an overprotective big brother. He was more family to me than my own brother, Sebastian, who was never protective.

In fact, he was the opposite. I threw thoughts of Sebastian aside and gave my friends a reassuring smile. He was thinking about joining the class.Logan has a bit of a past. I thought it would dry quicker. The Goal. That being said, I would love to read your On Dublin Street Series in perpetuity, but Moonlight on Nightingale Way is a fabulous way to close the last full length book in this series. Most of all you write characters I can not only relate to but connect with.
