I am giving this book four rather than five stars due to the lack of cited sources, but I commend the authors for their efforts, which I believe will help many people suffering with acne. Before I had read this book, I had given up animal products and had begun to reduce the oil and other fats in my diet, both of which they suggest. Concurrently, I noticed that my diagnosed rosacea pustules were lessening. However, the recipes included I gave this book a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star rating because I'm a bit stricter in my approach to nutrition than the Nelson twin authors. The low-fat, starch-based, and plant-based program has done WONDERS for my skin and energy levels- My skin is the clearest it has ever been since I was 16 and my energy levels are off the charts.

I was eating peanut butter EVERY morning on toast, but I found a significant enough improvement in my breakouts after quitting that I now refuse to eat it at all. This is the premise of the Clear Skin Diet!
It's a fat-free vegan diet. You don't need to read the book in order to try it out it came from Dr. Interested in what skincare products the Nelson sisters recommend?
All that praise aside, I do realize that this diet is very challenging. I have yet to go a day without eating oil in some form. It essentially requires you to eat rice and beans and little else.
Luckily, that's basically my favorite meal, and I'll be going full Clear Skin Diet on or before January 1st. I will update when I have more results to share.These two young ladies are ideal representatives to take this important information to a desperate public. And just having a little bit of that every day made such a difference with inflammation on our faces.
